Here is a preview of my illustration in progress! it's gonna be the Cheshire cat and Alice. I haven't done anything this rendered or detailed in a while so i figured I'd try it for a change. although i am using reference im trying to exagerate alot of the detail to make an extra weird cheshire cat. For this piece I was really inspired by the movie Alice by Jan Svankmajer

Edit* Here's the finished pencil drawing now to just figure out the color

Edit** Here's the final I turned in. I'm not too happy with it, I'll go into the original piece with watercolor I, im not to savvy with illustrating on the computer yet.

Edit*** modified the drawing with color in photoshop with the help of Mr. Joe Theil
and im happier with it!

This is a series of Vignettes I did for the sequential assignment in ms. French's illustration class. The assignment was to illustrate a recent gathering of friends or family and have it expressed in a narrative format. I liked that the assignment was somewhat vague which gave me a lot of freedom to do what i wanted

Heres the highlights of some summer sketching, I didn't get them all cause theres a bunch but i'll get around to it. I hope to start working with some paint soon, either digital or traditional. In my color class we were assigned to make a book, so my friend stuart and i decided to make a pamphlet kind of thing. It's supposed to be a satirical pamphlet given out by the government to convince people not to have independent opinions. We also made a series of Flyer's to go with the larger peice and put them around campus. They are interactive. I might post those later

These are screen shots from My Intro to Web Design assignment. The assignment was to take a website thats important to me and redesign it. The Website I chose was Lightning Bolt's website www.laserbeast.com. I don't feel my design best describes the band as much as their existing site does, Mine sort of has some weird grunge connotation to it which although intentional, is not entirely how I see the band.
